SINGLE WORKSHOPS

Each afternoon you can spontaneously choose the class you would like to join.
This years we will offer:

Moans, Groans, & Tones: Practice in Intimate Communications
with Dawaune Lamont Hayes (he/she/they)

How does the pitch of a moan, indicate pleasure or pain?
Sometimes spoken language can be a barrier to exactly what we want to say, but humans have been making sounds since before formal tongues and dialects. Moans, Groans, and Tones are universal and allow people to express intrigue, pleasure, disgust, anger, and so much more just with a sound.
In this workshop we will explore the roots of intimate communication through eye-contact, consensual touch, and intentional sound making. We will develop our own personal tonal library and practice conversing without words.

Embracing our Queer Ancestors
with Igna Alem

In groups of four and with constellation exercises we will softly connect to our ancestors, ourselves and our desires, making space for other realities to express. We will dance and be witnessed integrating this information. There will be space to reflect deeply on the privilege we have and make peace with our parts.

Sexy Dancing & Being That Bitch
with Dawaune Lamont Hayes (he/she/they)

Everyone deserves to feel sexy.
To be able to command attention and move their body in a way that feels sensual and seductive.

In this workshop we will play with the basics of burlesque and strip tease, body mechanics, poses and posture, and finding the groove in silence and music that makes for a red-hot smoke show.

This offering is for those who want break out of their comfort zone and own the room.

The Relational Playground:
A Journey into Innocence & Eros

with Mara

This class is an invitation to reconnect with your authentic inner child—the part of you that holds innocence, curiosity, and spontaneous expression.

Together, we will explore the essential qualities of this being and begin to weave them into our adult selves. We’ll play from a place of innocence and curiosity: drawing on each other’s bodies, creating ephemeral art, moving, running, dancing, making strange and honest sounds… allowing ourselves to be seen, recognized, and validated in our raw expression.

Can you dare to meet yourself in this vulnerability?

Through guided meditation, relational exercises, and playful exploration, you’ll be invited to feel, experience, and embody new spaces of aliveness—perhaps ones you’ve never allowed yourself to enter before.

This is a space where your adult self becomes present and responsible for the child within—bringing awareness, care, and choice. From this place, we explore what it means to move through the world with the perspective of “the first time”—where wonder, connection, and eros naturally emerge.

You are invited to come as you are.
To play, to feel, to explore…
and maybe, to discover a new way of being alive in connection.

Grief Ritual
with Hazel Turrone

Around the world, Grief Rituals have been an intricate part of communal practices to support health, resiliency and connection – giving space to release what is held individually and collectively.
When space is created to allow grief to move, it supports deep healing, liberation of old patterns, and a greater capacity to experience life.
It is said that grief is the greatest gift to our ancestors.
When we feel the grief our bodies carry (and that our lineages have been carrying for thousands of years), we are metabolizing the trauma that our people were unable to digest.  When we give space to feel all that our body feels and move what is ready to move, we increase our resiliency and capacity as individuals and in community.

This ritual is an invitation.
There will be no expectations about how or what shows up or moves through you.
You are welcome to arrive with all that you are and all that you carry and simply be present in whatever capacity you are able in the moment.

The Grief Ritual will flow into a Ritual of Eros offering the opportunity to fill up the newly created spaces within with the sacred honoring of who we are in our interconnectedness and power.
There will be soft and luxurious options for integration and invitations to receive and explore with each other.

A Feast of Possibility:
Curating your menu of delight

with Princess

With imagination as your guide you will have the opportunity to create your own “menu” of experiences to offer your guests. From light curious appetizers to more indulgent main courses you will learn how to design invitations that spark presence, and authentic connection. Your invitations may be playful, sensory, or even erotic, and curated with care and intention. Whether subtle or bold your menu becomes a living expression turning imagination into delicious shared experience at the Connection A La Cart Café. Here is where everyone gets to sample each-other’s offerings, and revel in the culmination of what we’ve created together.

Reality Between Us
with Igna Alem

In this workshop, we explore our relationship with reality through the lens of constellation work, embodied inquiry, and relational field awareness. What do we call reality? Is it objective, inherited, negotiated, projected, sensed, or co-created?

Through individual, partner, and group constellation exercises, we will listen to the forces that shape perception: family imprint, culture, desire, fear, belonging, power, memory, and the body’s own intelligence. We will explore how realities are formed, how they become shared, and how they can shift when brought into presence.

This is not about finding one final truth. It is about becoming more intimate with the layers that organize our experience, and noticing what becomes possible when we relate to reality with more humility, curiosity, and embodiment.

Playing Switch with our Senses
with Hazel Turrone

For most of us, vision is our Dom.  It leads us in our experiences of the world – how we perceive and take in information.  This can often translate into choices we make – who we move towards and away.  Let’s switch it up.  Command this sense to bow down at the feet of the other senses; collared by a blindfold.

What more is possible?  Can we deepen our connective explorations by accessing more of our body’s wisdom?  What can be learned about ourselves and each other when we dissolve or soften the unconscious assumptions, judgements and ideas that inevitably happen when we visually perceive appearance?

Our explorations will include practices to listen more deeply to other senses, light power exchange and partnered sensual play.  Touch in any of these is optional.

This can be particularly potent for stepping more into self-trust and practicing consent as well as providing a playground that creates more spaciousness for real-ational connection within age, gender, race, abilities and what is considered attractive in our world.

Note on Accessibility:
• people who are blind or with low-vision are welcome to join with the invitation to ‘collar’ a different Dom of a sense.
• blindfolds alone of course do not completely make us anonymous – there is much info about identities  (and thus assumptions people may have about them including age, gender assumptions, abilities, size and race) that can be gathered from touch and hearing voice, etc.
Anonymity is not the goal and touch and speaking are optional with alternate invitations offered.
