My main question in life is: ‘What does it mean to be human and how could this experience of living in a body on earth be more meaningful?’
This quest got me a degree in Cultural Anthropology and Conflict Studies, followed by 15 years of studying humanity, somatic practices and holistic bodywork modalities – Rolfing, Trager Approach, Yoga, Ayurveda, CI, Butoh – while living on 4 different continents.
I see the world as a place full of wonder, and human beings – as well as nature – never fail to fascinate me. I am obsessed with observing and playing with relational dynamics. Both internally – between different parts, body, emotion, mind, spirit, and externally – between me and my friends, partners, family, society, humanity, nature.
It is just so satisfying when a new way of relating opens up and I expand, (often) allowing for more possibility, flow, symbioses, …
At my first Touch & Play in Nature Community 2022, I instantly felt at home in this container that invites people to play with new paradigms and explore edges. I have been an active collaborator in T&P Cologne, Germany, Barcelona, Argentina and Brasil since.
This has not always been easy. Along the way there have been moments where my coping mechanism crashed. I was so insecure, hurt or lost that I couldn’t show up for others the way I thought I should (I tend to take responsibility VERY seriously ;)… Magic happened; others showed up for me. They gratefully used the space my pain had opened to look at something significant for them and/or simply stood in their power.
I feel vulnerable now, taking on the coordination of T&P Cologne 2026. I want to do it from that softness, the trust that when someone else has clarity or a good idea, there will be space for them to take the lead.
That is my rebellion; to let go of the deeply rooted idea that I (especially in the role of leader) should be able to do it all by myself. To keep coming back to where I am vulnerable – because I know there is an opening for expansion. To trust my heart – which feels the potential in our community; to stand in this together and truly make the best out of it
